Azan is a free app that's designed to help someone keep track of Islamic prayer times. The software is designed to be sensitive and classy, featuring location-based prayer times in a very readable font on a single screen adorned with a pleasing graphic. Prayer times can be equipped with an alarm or left silent. They are calculated to the exact minute, and locations can be inputted manually by zip code, time zone or even exact latitude and longitude coordinates. It's fully configurable for Shia or Sunni beliefs.

The software, which only takes up 3.56 megabytes of space, is a product of 12 Tech LLC and is currently on its third major revision. It's supported in a whopping 45 languages, including English, Thai, Turkish, Korean, Hindi, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Icelandic and Armenian. It requires Android operating system version 3.0.x or greater.
