Doodle Army 2: Mini Militia is a multiplayer action game pitting players against each other in deathmatches.

With a two dimensional side scrolling format, the game pits either up to six or 12 (with WiFi) players against each other on a large map stocked with weaponry. Players can hide, run away, take up a position or charge ahead with guns blazing, depending on their play styles.

The controls are basic and easy to learn and use. There's a virtual stick which controls movement and another which controls aiming. Your weapon will fire as long as it's aimed at the target, so the only things the player needs to be concerned with is aiming and movement.

Each level is chock full of a variety of guns and explosives, and everyone can pick out their preferred weapon of choice. The different weapons have different strategies that work well with each one, leading to some strategic nuance in the game play.

The graphics and visuals are nothing to write home about, with a stripped down and bare bones aesthetic. But that doesn't get in the way of the game play, which can be a lot of fun with up to 11 of your friends all running around merrily shooting and blowing each other up.
