Scrabble is a game where players create words from random tiles. The app is based off of the classic board game, which is owned by Hasbro, in which up to four players create words from square, wooden letter tiles. Each letter is assigned a point value, and creating a word on certain places on the game board increases the overall point value. There are also blank tiles that can represent any letter but are worth no points. This app features multiplayer so players can play against each other from anywhere in the world.

The software is a product of EA Swiss Sarl and is currently on its third major revision. It requires Android operating system version 4.2, 4.2.2 or greater and currently only supports the English language. The download is rather large compared to other similar games, weighing in at 45.38 megabytes. This is most likely due to high quality graphics.
