Marvel Contest of Champions is a 2D fighting game where you control Marvel superheroes.

In Marvel Contest of Champions, you are able to play as any of a number of the most iconic superheroes we've grown to love in the comics and in the recent spate of blockbuster movies. At the beginning of the game, you are limited to choices of only two heroes, but as the game goes on you can unlock a massive stable of heroes including Wolverine, Iron Man, Star Lord, Drax and Gamora, Black Panther, Thor, Captain America and the Winter Soldier and many more.

There are two modes in Marvel Contest of Champions. The first is a story mode, where you battle against multiple enemies. As you progress in the story, your opponents become more powerful and more difficult to defeat. The other option is a duel mode, where you battle against other players around the world.

The controls of Marvel Contest of Champions are designed specifically for a touchscreen, and don't feature any button pushing at all. Instead, you control your heroes attacks, blocks and movements with swipes and taps on the screen.
