Minesweeper Classic is a video game app that was modeled after the classic PC game of the same name. This version has been modified for compatibility with touchscreen systems, and it includes several other new features as well.
Minesweeper is a fun game that involves using logic to determine where mines are placed based on squares that reveal the number of mines they touch. So if you click on the game board and a large section falls away since they have no mines, the edges of that space will start to have mines. You can zoom in on the game board so you can easily hit the specific boxes that you need. When you uncover a 1, that means the square is touching a single mine. By deducing which squares can and can't be mines based on their surrounding numbers, you can clear or mark all the squares on the board. The goal is to mark all the mines while you uncover every space that isn't a mine.
You can change the difficulty setting of the game, which essentially just makes the board larger and filled with more mines. The game is more challenging to complete quickly at those higher difficulties, but the principal to solve the game remains the same.
