Paper.io is a free video game app that is based on an online platform. The goal of the game is to take over the largest amount of land on the board. However, the world is filled with other real players who are all trying to do the same thing, and many of them have the tools necessary to completely stop you. Claiming a section of the land in Paper.io is relatively simple. When you enclose a section of the playing area with your character, it becomes yours. However, it might only stay in your hands long enough for someone else to come get it.

The most vulnerable place you'll be when playing the game is when you're trying to take over another space on the board. When that happens, you can easily be killed by another player crossing your line. Of course, when another player is destroyed, they leave behind points for their killer in direct relation to their size. That means bigger enemies produce more points when you kill them. There are other io games out there, but Paper.io is a fun and unique way of looking at the genre.
