Plants Vs Zombies 2 is a tower defense game where your plants defend against a zombie attack.

Plants Vs Zombies 2 ups the ante from the previous game, introducing a time travel element. You travel through time to a number of key historical locations and time periods to battle zombies, always with the assistance of your array of plants.

The game adds a fun visual touch in dressing up the invading zombies differently depending on the historical era in which you've found themselves, which brings some new life for fans of the original game.

Much of game play itself is fairly similar to the first Plants Vs Zombies, but the brand new plants at your disposal and the different types of new zombies make it even more complicated and difficult to get through all the levels.
