This Mirror app from Sonky Soft is a free and exceptionally basic utility that basically turns on your selfie camera and provides you with some appropriate accent lighting through the flash of the device. It then captures your image and shows it to you on screen in a mirrored fashion. While this might not seem like an incredibly useful tool since you can simply turn on your selfie camera at any point, the combination of the selfie camera and the correct light level can produce an effect that is strikingly similar to looking in a real mirror.

The software really doesn't do much besides act as a mirror for you in emergencies. It's a small app that you won't notice in the background when you aren't using it, so there's no real reason not to try it out. The app is occasionally updated when the developers stumble upon a new setting that makes the mirror effect even stronger.

While this app is entirely free, it is supported by ads, which can get annoying since they take up part of the screen you're trying to use as a mirror. You can pay to remove the ads, but if you're going to do that, you may as well spring for a real compact mirror.
